[Note: This pin is a bit larger than our standard pins at 1.25" wide. It can work as a lapel pin, but also would make a great bag, strap, or hat pin. Either way, she's a beauty!]
"Designed by Martin Luther in 1530, the symbol that came to be known as the "Luther Rose" features a black cross in a red heart, surrounded by a white rose on a sky-blue field, all enclosed in a golden ring.
Black cross in a red heart: The cross represents Christ's crucifixion, and faith in Him is what saves us. The red heart represents God's love for us and the joy that comes from faith, which doesn't corrupt but preserves us.
White rose: The white rose symbolizes the peace, comfort, and joy that faith brings. It is a reminder that through Christ, our sins are forgiven and we are made new.
Blue background: This represents the joy of the new life in the Spirit and the hope of future heavenly joy that believers have.
Golden ring: The ring signifies eternal life in heaven, which is a gift from God and has no end."
1.25" enamel.
